Written by Aaron L. Hammer

The American Bar Association published the third revised version of its widely acclaimed treatise, Reorganizing Failing Businesses. The publication included a chapter entitled, “United States Securities Laws Implications of Corporate Restructurings,” which Aaron Hammer co-authored with other nationally recognized insolvency specialists. The treatise analyzes key situations from the perspective of the varied constituencies within a restructuring process and application of the bankruptcy code in that context. The treatise also details how bankruptcy laws interact with a variety of other legal disciplines including federal securities laws, intellectual property, antitrust, tax, health care, and environmental laws.
